Apple Inaugurates the Free iOS Programming School in Tangerang

 

Apple has officially opened an iOS Developer Academy campus, from the three promised campuses to be established in Indonesia. This first campus is planned to be fully operational in June 2018. "There are only three Apple Developer Academy in the world, namely in Brazil, Italy, and first in Asia, this is in Indonesia," said Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto. "Now it's just pre-launch, the grand launch (opening) will be held in June," Airlangga added, visiting Apple Developer Academy at 9th Green Office Park, Bumi Serpong Damai, Tangerang, Monday (05/07/2018).

In the pre-launch stage, Apple Developer Academy Indonesia only received 75 students. All of them are the result of cooperation with Binus University. But the plan, after starting full operation, anyone will be able to register for the Apple application ecosystem special science school there. Even the school is free, without attracting fees. To note, Apple Developer Academy Indonesia has an area of ​​approximately 1,500 square meters with a capacity to accommodate 200 developers per year. The room at a glance looks similar to a large co-working space, a table that is divided into groups and televisions are scattered in various angles. According to Rudiantara, Apple will bring a programming science mentor from various parts of the world to teach students there. "The mentor will be from various regional Apple, some from Brazil, Italy, Cupertino and others," he concluded.
